Eric Bottolfsen is the Co-Founder of Allwealth Planning and an experienced financial planner dedicated to helping clients align their wealth with their goals, values, and lifestyle. Based in Phoenix, when acting as an Investment Adviser Representative, Eric develops fiduciary-focused strategies for entrepreneurs, professionals, and families that integrate every part of their financial lives—from cash flow and taxes to retirement, estate planning, and risk management.
Eric entered the financial industry during the 2008 financial crisis, an experience that shaped his planning-first philosophy and his belief that investments are only one piece of the larger picture. With professional experience in banking, trust administration, insurance, and wealth management, he brings both technical expertise and a practical understanding of the challenges clients face. As a business owner himself, Eric knows the balancing act of managing cash flow, navigating taxes, protecting the future, and still creating space for the life you want.
His work has been recognized nationally. Eric holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Wisconsin–Superior and dual master’s degrees (MBA and M.A. in Finance) from The College of St. Scholastica in St. Paul, MN. He also maintains Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations, along with Life and Health licenses.
What Eric enjoys most about his work is bringing humanity into financial planning—helping clients see how money connects to their values, lifestyle, and future. He has a particular passion for working with clients often underserved by traditional advisors, including those building wealth, business owners, independent contractors, medical and dental professionals, and DINK households. By translating complexity into clarity, Eric empowers clients to take control of their financial lives with confidence.
Outside of the office—or when not volunteering—Eric lives by the motto “work hard, play hard, relax hard.” He’s active with the Phoenix Run Club and the Puckheads hockey league, enjoys hiking and canoe trips with his Midwest family, and he and his fiancé never miss a chance to travel—especially to Mexico. When closer to home, Eric can often be found working on his A-frame renovation project outside of Flagstaff or spending time with his dog, Reposada (named for his love of tequila). He’s always up for a campfire story or a competitive board game.
